About Us

Lou played guitar in a continental music band at an early age and learned how to provide accompaniment in a musical group setting. After some musical studies he joined a four man vocal group,the Untouchables, who had a weekly TV appearance and won numerous band contests.

 

Throughout the years Lou played in numerous bands covering many musical genres. He met the Rivet Bros, who were a folk country- bluegrass group. He arranged the music and played on their Storms Over Stinson album featured on CBC and performed with them at various festivals.

 

His composition of the instrumental Banjovie has been played on various television travelogues and nature features.

He enjoys arranging songs for bands, writing original compositions and helping others in their musical voyage.

 

He is one of the originators of the newly formed GoodTime Guitar Club and excited about its future.

At 14 Jack found his voice while singing along to 45's of Elvis, Del Shannon, the Beach Boys, the Beatles, and other British Invasion musicians.

 

ModEra became his first Stratford band back in the day. He then stepped up to Soul, Blues, and Rock as Club 42 Revue, which opened twice for the Jeff Healy Band and at several Blues Festivals and Music Halls. He later became lead singer for Soul Revival, a blues\rock band with 8-12 A-list musicians.

 

Ten years ago Jack picked up the Bass guitar, and since then has performed with small local bands as lead singer/bass front man in bars, patios, and backyards.

 

You might have already enjoyed B- Side Acoustic Band, One Eyed Jack and the Fogduckers, and Jack and the Heartbeat.

 

He is looking forward to forming a group of experienced players with similar backgrounds who will gather weekly to improve and hone their skills and occasionally perform for the love of music at fundraisers and charities in Perth county.

Dave joined the GoodTime Guitar Club in 2025.

 

He has been playing for private and public groups as well as his own enjoyment since the age of 15.

He has been performing  for many decades in the GTA and throughout South Western Ontario both as a solo act and as part of many bands. From Classic Rock to Folk to Country and Blues, Dave's musical interests are wide ranging.

His specialty is bringing vocals, rhythm guitar and welcoming dynamic to every musical experience.

Dave is also managing the online presence of the group to help recruit like-minded experienced musicians and to share the progress of the band with the community.
